Hosted by the Black Country Museum's poet-in-residence and Radio Wildfire presenter, Dave Reeves, this is the first monthly evening of poetry, lyrics, music and storytelling where we'll be 'putting the cant into canteen'.
Held in the museum's cafe, this first event will also be the launch of 'Black by Day: Red by Night,' the poetry book containing the winning poems from both the 2012 and 2013 Black Country Living Museum Poetry Competition with winners reading from the book.
If there is sufficient time there will be open mic slots.
