Come and discover this Marsden-born poet:
born 17th January 1826.

Professor Paul Salveson is an expert on the
dialect poets of Lancashire and Yorkshire,
including the work of Sam Laycock. He will
be talking about this intriguing, passionate
poet and reading some of his work.

You can join in by reading one or two of your
own poems, or a favourite dialect or other
poem.

Your compere for the evening is Julian
Jordon, founder of Marsden-based national
poetry organisation,Write Out Loud.
