Ann, thanks for your kind double comments. I really appreciate and value your words. Drim is a made-up word. Although it does exist in welsh! It just sounded so right & once it popped into my mind I just couldn't get rid of it and nothing else would do!XXX

I like your Thomas Tallis poem - music is so difficult in poems and you use this so well as a love poem, a memorial, an elegy. I can hear it, as I love that piece and someone else who loved it too - a long time ago. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the trouble to comment on the November 1966 fragment, Ann, even though you're a not a football fan! I think great pop records help to frame a moment, and if it wasn't for the song I don't think I would remember it. (I guess you could extend the poem and turn it into something else. I've just Googled and discovered it was the month that John and Yoko first met).

Nah, not being kind ... your poems are always very interesting, often very different from each other, and thought-provoking, and when you're away from the site for a few days we really notice it and miss you! I must say Lundy does look quite a bleak spot from the North Devon coast. And in the fog ... but very atmospheric too, I guess

Ann, you are on the ball! They are two separate references, but obviously can be read together as a 'couple'. I changed it only recently too; now I must fix the ambiguity, but can't remember what I had before.

That is the Picasso 'Aperitif' which I wrote about. Winston was in Sale last night, and he suggested it might be a good one. I'm a bit apprehensive - but it sort of suits. Not that I look anything like that, but still - it kinda suits.

Hello Foxy
No Pam Ayres didn't play rugby, you numpty!
She did write a poem much, much better than mine called 13-0 about her son's debut in the school football team. Despite having written it years before mine, the structure she copied off me along with the subject matter, title and rhyming pattern!
Incidentally, would you like to see my Up and Under?

Anne

Thank you so mulch for having a read of my latest.

... But they grow for a bit beyond March don't they?!

Actually ... if you look at Breck's catalogue, apparently, summer flowering Daffodils are available!

Thanks for revealing what a complete anus I am in the flower garden. If you can think of a different one ( flowering March to late August) I'll change the name!

I more-than-fancied her myself, but was already hitched anyway. Thinking afterwards, I was ashamed to say that I thought I'd love to jump her bones, but, would I want to be seen out with her ? No - and that's the shameful part and I would not normally think of myself as the shallow type, but I guess this showed my true colours ?
