No need Ann. The rules say the poem has to have something, however tenuous, to do with "Biting the Bullet" and I reckon this squeezes in. However, if someone writes a poem just about biting that won't do.

Red's always hard on the eyes - unless it's shoes of course. I also hate that pale pink colour people use now and again - anything that makes it harder to read is a turnoff. I can see what you were trying to do here though - maybe liken your words to blood?

Thanks all. With the big red writing, I guess I was going for impact - firing from both barrels maybe! I thought it was a good contrast with the black and white bullet hole image.
