People say things in

a much different way

behind your back, than

if you were in the room.

Why is that I ask, which sets

some tongues awash with

mean mouthed mealy talk.

The erudite Cardinal Newman

wrote about it in an earlier

tome – my views now intone

his word wise worldly ways.

Don’t let the gnomes of

slander let you do their

dirty work – unlike our

media spreading its alarm

which helps to fan the flames

of angst and discontent.

Try to see the betterment of

a panoramic view and so

never let gossipers

draw you to their side.

There is no pride in idle

chat for which another

pays a reputation slur.

Unkind talk spreads lies

and even more besides.

Tonge-in-cheek. Once started I realised this was not TIC but true

I am the CEO of
An empire media
I gotta make us money
We need to get more seedier

Journalists go and grab us
Gossip from the gutter
Stuff we can regurgitate
Stuff that we can utter

Gotta sell more papers
What jucys can you find?
It doesn't matter if not true
To me I don't care, mind

What? I've been charged with slander?

A warning for all times. A poem of wisdom.
