Happy Birthday

What shall I write today

What's in me to give away

Every moment in dirty glass

But the trees are so tall and the clouds shimmering

The sunlight beaming down on them

Glowing from inside

And the soft silver center belly

Pouting down in rest

And I'm distracted by a memory of lyrics

It's been a slow day

So it's been a good day

Maybe better maybe worse from this moment onwards

But Alabama is beautiful

She sings in glorious wilderness

She sings with her heart full

And the music bleeding from her

Is the hum at the bottom of the still

Hold your notes tightly

Because sometimes they are thrown away

But even then rot renews to spring

And here we can grow it again

Because it only takes the little seeds

Where people care and tend

And we are rich with mulch by now

Our roots thick in compost

Drink the water and soak the sun

Everything you need is clear

So many times I've been tempted to run

But somehow I really like it here

Maybe everywhere is complicated

Maybe there is no one place for people to go

But simply by staying or being stuck

I've found I love my home

I really enjoyed this one.

Enjoyable read Collin P, lyrical stream of conciousness. Yea it's simply true, everywhere is complicated.
