Dropped to Earth

entry picture

Diamonds don't impress, they like color

often follow their hearts

from one end of the earth to the other

In the evenings, on a hilltop with a view

the stone they lay on retaining warmth of the glowing red sun

Gathering round of a few closer friends

laughing, basking, and just plain having fun

Old in the soul were they, and young at heart

all believers of a perfect majesty

Survived after long, disastrous ramblings

all dropped to earth in perfect harmony

as the glowing orb continues sinking down

it leaves behind the lingering of the spirit

A spirit of heat and light and sound

of something else remaining open to interpret

Through intersections of time and space and dust

meeting up again in some other place

All uncomfortable in their new, foreign skin

fallen angels simply fallen from their grace

'Through intersections of time and space and dust
meeting up again in some other place'

I can interpre that in so many different ways Rebecca.
