Shakespeare

O this our wonderful and worthy writer,

He examined life to make it brighter.

In his plays of comedy, tragedy and history,

His genius surely must be a mystery.

It must have been his lifelong mission

To explore the human condition.

And in trying to understand the human mind

He unearthed deep secrets for us all to find.

He expressed every feeling and each disposition,

Whether it be love, anger or ambition.

When we know his works it is not hard

To know why we are all proud of our fantastic bard.

And whether we may weep or be made to smile,

Discovering his works is time spent worthwhile.

And so until the end of time his works shall last,

And certainly without doubt never be surpassed.
