Night struggle

Darkly, completely entombed

another bout with unreleasing sleeplessness.

Having to restart the game of explaining myself to myself

futile hopes and wishes adding their interventions

obstinate envisaged sheep refusing to jump the subconscious stiles

but timely comforting paned rain music comes to my aid

begins encouraging a send-off

with its pitter-pattering lullaby

the slowly spiralling descent into

unknown longitudes and latitudes commences

the fight with insomnia is slowly, slowly

loosing, its continuance.

Lucky you Lisa. Proves you must be a very relaxed kind of person.

True Rose, it can. Brings to mind that old song

# listen to the rhythm of the falling rain # which I did last night and-

zzzzzzz👍 Thanks girls and Devon.

I sleep so well every night. I am nonfunctioning unless I get 8-9 hours. I cannot imagine the agony of no sleep. So many people I know suffer insomnia. May you find rest Leon!
