Aesop's inspirations

spin me a tale

let it include monsters and one-eyed giants

that I can familiarise myself with

maybe a Pegasus horse

who could take me on heavenly winged flights

free of earth's captivity

but let it be happy ever after

after the end

continuing while I lie

fairy taled in your arms

my breathings temporarily withheld

at each of your astonishments

every word a caress of my mind

and I will cry or laugh

with the verbal spell's you cast.

And when returning from fantasy wanderings

I'll remember forever that

there once was a big cuddly porridge loving teddy bear

who this Goldilocks loved very very much

such fables are mine not imagined.
