The Tenor Improvises To The Soprano's Dismay

Singing at the choir, soprano goes side-eye

and silent at the tenor's misconception

of a melody intended to lift the song, drag it

angelic into heaven's clef - that tenor

sings it down, down, chromatic

to the bass - in dissonant thunder -

diminished fifth with a flat into hell

then slowly into slumber.

Thanks for the likes and comments - this was supposed to be a comedic poem, lol, light and fluffy. Hey, Don, flippancy is always welcome here. And can somebody show me how to turn on the tape recorder?

Why didn't we get an audio
Accompanying musical ditty
I wanted to hear your lilting tones
Oh Devon, what a pity

Forgive me for my flippancy
(It seems I'm born with gene)
Your serious poem I've messed up
(All others think I'm mean)

No I'm not providing audio song to my comment. My strine would grate.....

Low is also a tone....fluctuations adds music and rhythm....feels like the end.....but you never know.
