I wish I could freeze time in my freezer

and thaw it out when I need a bit more.

If I could, then one thing is for sure

I’d very soon need a new door.

With all of that opening and closing

I know that I’d soon wear it out.

It would get lots of use that’s for certain

Of this, there cannot be a doubt.

For some times I’ve plenty to spare

and at others, I find I’ve run out

As when I look down at my watch

I find that there is just none about

It’s funny how we still keep on looking

Expecting some more to appear

So you see it would be rather handy

To have some in the freezer to spare!

Omg Ghaz, That is the most profound thing I have seen written for many a year!

winding people up in hindi is translated as "logon ko chabi bharna"...which means to excite someone that they stand for you in all circumstances and hold your views as best... tz a hindi!!! (no pun intended here)😈

this poem tells us the value of time, which we just waste, regardless of its importance in our life.😎

"time and tide wait for none"😋
"you can not touch the same water twice"😌

well written....👍

We are all given the exact same 24 hours.. How we use it varies.. so precious and fragile and yet always taking for granted.. What a fantastic read po 😃

Great rhythm and rhyme- I couldn't agree more, there's never enough time! Well done😊

If time were a fart, you're damn well I'd jar that shit and freeze it until Hell itself thawed.

Just saying. 😅
