NEW DAWN My Christmas message

Here is my Christmas message of hope, to my new extended family here at ‘WOL’

Although I am new here, I am not new to public speaking. In my past I have served churches and taken the service in many of them all across East Anglia.

I have also given talks, lectures and public demonstrations in halls, theatres, and public buildings.

During these occasions, I have often recited ‘New Dawn’, sometimes at the beginning of a service to use as an opening, or indeed a closing prayer.  I will also often recite it at the end of an event to bring the evening to a close.

I felt it apt to post it here on the last Sunday before Christmas to my friends old and new and prehaps more importantly, to those who I have yet to meet.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all…

“In the lonely hours and minutes of uncertainty, I long to be in the warm hold of your loving mind”

I pray here on my own all alone, I’m praying for peace for us all.

I’m praying for guidance, please lend a hand.

As I listen in meditation deep, my thoughts are drowning the words that I seek.

Help me to hear with Samuel’s ear.  I sense you draw near as I speak

A tear starts to fall I know you are hearing my call and can see all my pain as I weep.

The tears that are falling are bleeding from my heart, help us to understand,

and awake in the morn with a faith that’s reborn, to a wonderful bright

                                                                                                             New Dawn

Good morning Kate
I am having a wonderful Christmas break. Thank you so much for your kind comment and much appreciated support.

I am so pleased to know you enjoy my work. I respect your comments and have actually been inspired by a couple of your poems to write a poem that I am hoping you will enjoy.

I will reference you (actually I will pass it by you first) for some helpful critique. It’s content I’m certain will engage you.

Have Happy and Healthy New Year

Hi Mark

Yes indeed...

I have to thank you here not only for your support Mark, moreover for inspiring me to add to the collection of audio on WOL. (My misses might not be so appreciative).

I have left a message on your bio.

I hope you will be able to give me some advice next year mate

Real pulpit stuff.
Somehow, I'm reminded of the words "Physician, heal thyself."
We all need to be strong for others at times in our lives and keep
our doubts to ourselves whilst doing our best in determining when
to differentiate between sympathy and the sympathetic strength
to be employed in extending supportive comfort and consolation.

Hi Brain LOL

"Po" Next year mate you will see what this is really short for!

poems and graphics and graphic poems

I was going to post
"Have yourselves a Poemagraphic Christmas"

As my message to everybody... It needs my Prezzie to do it justice

When I start my audio section here it will be my first attempt at singing a lyric or two.

Be Warned it will be adult humour and content and very 'graphic'

You have yet to see that side of me.
Not everybody's cup of tea to use a phrase you first said to me.
