Backstabbers

If you're a victim of knife crime in Southwark

you know when you're being attacked,

but across the Thames in Westminster

they'll stab you in the back

My local MP has emailed me to say he agrees with much of
what I say!! I am especially concerned with the use of the
word "hostility" as grounds for taking action. The word is
too open to interpretation that excludes physical action
and as such appears to impinge far too easily on the free
speech/opinion aspect of an historically blunt speaking
nation. The song told us we can't go to jail for what we're thinking...but, as I told him, we seem to be heading that way!

Brian - be careful! They might include "hostility" (sic)
towards politicians in the latest considerations to extend
the definitions covered by "hate" crime. I've just written to my MP on that particular subject and now wait with interest for his response.

You've gone off at a tangent Rose...clearly I'm not referring to physical acts on the Westminster side.

I do agree with everything you say about Keith Palmer, but for this to become a Keith Palmer discussion will detract from the intent.

how sadly apt the title Bri' if anyone should have been armed and properly armoured it was poor Keith Palmer.

RIP Keith.

Hi Natasha -Westminster is the London district that contains the parliament and all the various government departments. Southwark is a borough on the other side of the River Thames. The contrast between the two is quite marked.

Nice Flow?.I don't know where any of these places are but I imagine it's like how we New Yorkers perceive others from different Burroughs than our own.
