deadly disconnection

of the silent sufferer's I will never forget a close friend

too susceptible

vainly seeking remission

from the warped weight he had been burdened with

through absolutely no fault of his own

his grip on reality slackened

his self-identification lost

having walked away  from itself long ago

why couldn't someone professionally caring enough

given him the real directions to real peace

instead of those leading to the

pharmaceutical-guinea pig-wrong medications trials?

that in time solved nothing other than to £ line certain pockets

that in turn left him to find the only escape

in a noose!

RIP John......go easy bro'

Thank you, Big Sal, Wendy, Anya, and Darren. I,m hoping that nothing like this has happened to anyone you guys know or never will for that matter.

From what I've heard about similar tragedies, the giving of too strong or too weak medication can quite often play a part of the reasons why some of these sorrowful events come about, as it certainly did in this poor guys case and was confirmed by the coroner.

Thank's again all.

All too familiar tune both eerie and inescapable in the moment it catches those unaware. Elegies are certainly the way to go in poetry.🌷

Thanks, Taylor. And the knock-on effects in awful situations
like this can be endless, all the 'if only's' and 'what we should have done's' and not forgetting the finger pointing among family members etc, etc.

so sad indeed.

appreciated Trev. I would not like to have been the member of his family who discovered the terrible sight, and who without any doubt will never recover from having done so

Hard to watch from the outside, and feel so helpless. Emotional thoughts Rose.
