The courtship poems 20

Dust
collects
on stale
heart,

moon light
dissipates
warmth as
night falls
around you.

poet's pen
bleeds true
and deep

subscribes
only to
you,

and our
misgivings.

If I
am cast
to be
no one
in your
eyes,

I will
take the
passage

gratefully.

to wander
lost between
your heart
and soul

and never
ask for
love's true

offering.

so carry me

home in your

thoughts and

I will be

brave in

heart.

and call

your name

to myself

as you sleep,

and sing

your song

on open wind..

and in time a

single star

will call out

our names.

and forever

under it's

evenings light ,

I will

wish for

you.
