Hot Springs
My wine glass doesn't fit in the cup holder
My happy meal has the same old toy
I thought I was ok with older
But I'm devastated
Cinnamon sass
Sarcasm was your art
Your heart so much bigger
Than the best fed panther in the park
There's no missing
You're always here
I have every crackling word
Every growling laugh
Every smarmy sweater
Every holiday passed
Forever in my soul
You've etched your scrawl
The smell of your home
The brightness of your park
Every alligator and quartz
Every joke and notebook
We love you so much
Forever in your mountain
Longer with me
The stars are brighter now over Arkansas
With your presence
Ever present
Ever beautiful
You gave us more color
You gave us more joy
You gave everyone everything
You are the epitome
Of just being

interesting place Hot Springs - I enjoyed the Cultural Centre in one of the old bath houses on Central Ave but my motel that night was a health and safety disaster zone. Enjoyed your poem Collin.
