The gifts

These are the best of all gifts from above :
a mind to think and a smiling love.

That wealth which shares what’s just, and enough :
a mind to think and a smiling love.

A body to hold them both gentle and tough:
a mind to think and a smiling love.

Speech from the heart is a token of
a mind to think and a smiling love.

What sees only good fortune, when the going is rough ?
A mind to think and a smiling love.

So grant us, O Lord, these best gifts from above :
a mind to think and a smiling love.

You are a busy bee today. Your two poems make this allotted brotherhood season even more notable.
