The sitting poems 2

Sitting there

you are

a perfect

balance of

innocence

and silence

melting.

like low tides

kissing over

a soltice

beach at

sunset.

no motion

wasted or

taken for

granted.

only a

promise that

the next

moment

will be your

best.

your eyes

keeping secrets

deep that no

heart could

ever forget,

like a broken

window long

past the

moment

when the

stone was

carelessly

thrown.

you embrace

all of the

world

and the world

embraces

all of

you back,

with glee

and open

admiration.

for I too

have seen you

at the

window still.

and now

I like

the sunset sea

can think of

nothing less.

I also think of a child . The openness, the innocence, the fearless willingness to engage.

I don't understand your comment, but appreciate it.
Sometimes I write metaphorically for noone in particular. .... I like the constant reference to the window sill,
Like a child sits on the sill waiting....

Great comment-appreciate that very much But the writing is only as good as the person you write it for
