A Wild English Rose

entry picture

Take down

Oh!

Take me down

 Upon downy soft white

And

Whiter yet

Tingle tongue my midnight river

Stinging shimmering

Quick silver

Float me out to the wide open sea

Come

Oh!

Come

Oh! Come

Take all of me

Take not just the sweetness

And

Sweet repose

Take all of me

Tangle tearing thorn

And

Tangle tears again

Take me

A

Wild

Wild English Rose
