Al-Shuhada Street is the front line flash point in Hebron, Arabs are not permitted movement on this street.
Arab houses fronting the Street have had their front doors welded shut, inhabitants have to exit at the rear or clamber out across roof tops.
Our group was confronted by one elderly male settler who angrily asked us how we got in, we were being shadowed by an IDF patrol who stepped in to defuse the situation only to have themselves become the butt of his abuse and anger. He shouted "Do you want to make me a Nazi" you can conclude what you wish from that remark.
Whilst there we were constantly buzzed by settlers driving up and down the road.
