not long shall it be

till I take once more

to the same hilly pathways

all this coming Summers  while

assured in looking up

to the returning golden skies

that there

again aloft in his cloudless domain

the Skylark

silhouetted against

and his air drumming wings

warmly befriended by

earths sisterly ethereal brazier

beautifully lyrically defining

the necessary purpose

of his heavenly presence

his heart pouring out

the sweetly sung repetitive repertoire

naturally, wondrously disturbing

the space between us both

with the peace my Wintered soul

has so long hungered for

Such will be the fanfare

the dreamy moments

the calmness invading me

that I

in transitional state of mind

will be taken as before

to the greater heights

known only to Stars and Angels

◄ sympathy for the devil
