jeez mum! stop wearing teenagers clothes!

your mirror must be such a liar Mum!

the way it helps you to defeat the loss

of that young 'look'

Mother! get real!

who you think you are

has been relegated to history

so lock onto reality!

Yes, by all mean's keep those wishful fires burning

if you must

but do understand

that you will never get any warmth

from the dead fire of who you once were.............sorry Mum.

very good points M.C. I love the S/SC/C song by the way. Yes, it easy to spot the "extremes" that is when one has to muffle the laughter!

exactly Jems. And she still looks good in let's say 'mature' clothing Leon so it isn't asking too much of her to adjust to sensible clothing

I have no problems with her footwear Tommy as long as it isn't nine-inch stilettos!

thanks all

Ah - but don't we all look in the mirror and see someone
others don't see?
To borrow from a famous Sinatra/Sammy Cahn ballad -
"Don't you know that its worth
Every treasure on Earth to be young at heart..."; but having said that, I think I know "extremes" when I see them and there has to be a line drawn somewhere, I guess, between sublime
and ridiculous.
