The trouble with me
The trouble with me is,
I don't want half hearted kisses
and stolen moments,
I want to curl up in marshmallow pillows
With you and wrap my arms around you,
Forever,
Drink hot chocolate all night
and snuggle the cold away with you,
I want to find a log cabin in the woods,
and just go there,
Whenever we feel like it,
I don't need diamonds or expensive perfumes
I just need you,
all of you,
Your rough broken parts too,
and the things that make you scared
Or vulnerable.
I want to laugh with you,
Until my sides hurt
and walk mountains and beaches,
I don't need you to be perfect
I just need you to be true,
Lazy Sunday mornings,
Stretched out like cats
and wearing silly hats in the snow.
The trouble with me is this is what I want
and until then,
Until then my love.
I'm happy in my skin,
