I took this the day after at Grenfell whilst visiting the horror-filled site.
It struck me which way the cameras where directed, looking away from the tragedy which could easily have been avoided if people had been looking and listening. Our eyes averted to an obvious need, the need for safety and security.
Obviously the purpose of these cameras was to observe goings on throughout the estate which had/has a high crime rate.
I suspect that a great many people might automatically believe much of the crime was perpetrated by some of those living in Grenfell, when a greater crime was visited upon them by greed and neglect.
PS. If you want to use this picture please ask, as I have better ones available. This is zoomed in.
