Dreams keep me up all night

Somehow I make it through the day
Even when dreams threaten my life

I assure them they'll be okay
That I'll entertain them all night

Who are these people in my face
What's this tiny check in my hand

Just wanna run home and play
Change my pants call my friends

But these dreams keep me up all night
I can barely stand in place

Against the whirr of machines
And a brush of fall in the wind

These dreams keep me up all night
They take me everywhere

The daytime pales in comparison
I guess you just  have to be there
