little broken fledgeling's

having taken their damaged wings

to be repaired by

and fly forever in

the company of angels

thank you Patricia and KJ(wow! such a comment!)This poem was inspired by my first visit to an old neighbours grave, and while there noticed the special plot assigned for these poor little soul's.I have altered the first line, since I overlooked the obvious description of these children being fledgeling's rather than bird's as such, since that may have
suggested them being somewhat older.Thank you.Jemima.

I really liked this, it had a gentleness that runs through all of your poems. you have an ability to stamp your own personality onto your work, I take my hat off to you.

Cheers Kevin
