let keys tumble and fall

like brauhaus skittles,

and in comes peace.

Let chaos be overcome by calm.

Slumber then to sleep,

for in the music of dreams

play the symphonies of life.

And in that darkness lives the light.

On waking,

let the reprise of visions flow through you.

You are a concerto,

written in dreams.

Thanks all for reading and commenting. This is a re-tread, so forgive my indulgence.

Much appreciated,

Exalts the dream world beyond "rapid eye movement" without getting too fuzzy and mysterious..for me, that's a good thing.

..definitely deserving of a reprise of its own.

No bad thing this David to ally inspiration with music especially the piano . The rise and fall of the poem is like waves of music and indeed intaking of air. There is rhythm in beauty and beauty in rhythm.

"A concerto / written in dreams." One of the best lines I've read in ages!! The whole poem is remarkable, vivid, and lovingly crafted. Gorgeous.
