goodbye the bikes

With your once heightened passion for speed

it was inevitable

that one day

you would be the man

who should have heeded

my warnings

but didnt

and I will be the woman

I expected I would be

having to listen

to your leather clad friends

trying half heartedly

to sing hymns

trying to console me

with bullshit.

This time

I wont waste my warnings

I'll just shake my head

as the roar of their motorcycles

fades away from the church

too fast.

I'm of the same opinion as Rose,Patricia. It is the after effects of such tragedies on those left behind that these speed loving people, tend to overlook, with their 'it will never happen to me' ways of thinking.Thank you.Jemima.

ta mucho chap/ess.Not psychiatrically qualified to determine why mbikes hold a fascination for so many LCPTB-probs related to the macho man/tank girl image they like to portray?

Glad you are still in one piece-you are, aren't you?

Oh Rose!
no way! we had you down as tank girl number one!

P&S. xx
