I see an old man dressed in autumn colours probably a dressing gown, hunched with a gutting candle ready for bed with flickering shadows - you know the sort of thing! I hadn't thought of years but the man represents that for me.
Your lines put a match to that candle and it burns in the imagination. Nicely done.

I get a real picture from this Rob. I see a sort of Grimm fairy tale book cover (not sure why) but why not?
