yes i love my meat now, not even the documentary Food Inc could put me although it is extremely difficult to watch the suffering first hand. but, like i said, what can one man do (or a million for that matter). being a vegan in order to appease your guilt at the suffering caused is all well and good but really, when faced with such an inexcusable wall of mistreatment, i'd rather hide away and make the best of it.

I'm a carnivore Stu, somewhat confused as I do have some concerns regarding animal welfare.

For me the other angle of the piece is that of education, and how we are not necessarily furnished with the appropriate education, neither is it always delivered to us in an open format from which we can form our own opinions without prejudice.

Thanks for reading and comments.

a pertinent question indeed. i was a vegetarian for 8 years and i eventually capitulated because my then girlfriend poked a big mac into my mouth while i was paralytic on the london underground. after that i became an animal (aha), blue steaks were too well done for me. i often hear the argument that things are going to die whether we eat them or not. a tough one, but i do know not a single vegetarian will ever make a difference in terms of the worlds lust for meat.
