No-one cares if Justin Bieber is better then One Direction!

No-one cares if One Direction are fitter then Justin Bieber!

But the girls wont stop their silly arguments about them.

No-one cares if you're a 1D fan or if your a Belieber.

And the same goes for the Black Veil Brides fans.

All of these arguments are never-ending.

I'm annoyed by all these tweets about bands.

How did #cutforbieber ever start trending?

A teenager is posting all about

how much she hates her mother.

Her mum's a friend on her first account,

but she's secretly using another.

She declares her love for her boyfriend;

how much she wants to hold him tight.

She says their love is never going to end.

(They've only been going out for a fortnight.)

People are sharing photos

they've found on funny sites.

Most of them are pretty much porno,

but everyone does it so it's all right.

Someone's posting a gay test.

Arguments are going too far.

Hot girls fill your friend requests.

(You don't even know who they are.)

Everyone is always bored;

they want someone to inbox them.

People “like for a rate” in hoards.

Girls are complaining about men.

There are 9 year olds kicking off;

they're thinking they're “well 'ard”.

A tweet appears along the lines of

“How fit is Conner Maynard?”

I am studying Professional Writing at college and for my graded unit project, I decided to write a collection of poetry specifically aimed at teenagers. As primary, research, I set up a survey monkey about the kinds of things they'd like to see addressed in poetry and I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at the issues that came up. Politics, religion, homosexuality, foreign affairs , poverty, being true to who you are.

I was amazed at something of the things I had found. Of course while I sat in McDonalds and I see all the emos shouting and screaming at each other riding their BMXs in the shop it's difficult to remind yourself that if you really ask them what they want, they actually run a lot deeper than you'd expect.

You can find my survey on this link:

That seems to be where it's at these days. To find out what's going on, jest check the wall posts. The writing is on the wall for all to see! Thanks for sharing.

Better to delete your account I think. I've never even bothered going there - but then I'm of a different generation. I think some teenage talk has always been a bit vacuous - it's just easier to put it out there now cos of the internet.

Words of wisdom. Nice one Matthew. Take care, Tony.
