Pink walls, or is it off white?

Dark red

Green and cheap pine.

Quiet whispers from lips

that read computer screens

with eyes half shut.

Fingers tapping on keyboards

Then phones.

Until something beeps or rings

And they can contact the world again.

And whispers become words to drown out the radio,

Our fellow faceless hiding behind speakers

to keep us company through microphphones.

We are not alone.

We whispers from lips

We fingers that type

With eyes half shut

We appendages attached

to bricks, mortar and computer networks.

We White British

Irish

Black British

Black Afro Carribean

Mixed Afro Carribean

Black Other

Other Mixed, Other Asian, Mixed Other White Black paper screens green off-white other radio speaker phone.

There are no human beings here.

They couldn't fit them in the boxes.
