X Marks The Past

X marks the spot

Like a treasure map

Of the first places

We made love.

From the golf course

To the side of the train station

When your cold hands

Startled me that much

I was surprised

You didn't draw blood.

From the moonlight

On the moors

Where you howled throughout

So badly I thought you

Would transform

Into a werewolf.

To Salford Quays

Where the geese

Attacked us

As we brought them in

To our twisted public foreplay.

You said you couldn't climax

Without the right eyes

Beading your every move

So we went to the zoo.

X marks the spot

The monkeys watched

Fiddling their members

As my glistening fingers

Slowly stretched open

The x between your legs

And then we were arrested

For public exposure, the sum

Of our love errupted

In the couthouse.

X marks the spot we gave up all

And did it right there on the floor

As the judge slammed his hammer.

Nice one Brandon, liked the imagination!
I'll look out for you and the geese next time I'm at the Quays!

Mike
