And i think to myself.

Police are appealing for witnesses’ after an 82 year old

Stepped into the path of an ambulance shortly after eleven

This morning.

My feet stink because of these old trainers

And I can see my breath because I’m afraid to switch on

The heating.

In Mexico, a dozen heads have been found dumped in a

Well.

I’m out of bin-liners and washing-up liquid.

Last weeks triple rollover has finally been claimed,

The £14million prize was believed to have been won

By a retired builder in Surrey.

I’ve told everyone to forget about me this Christmas

Because I can’t afford to think about them.

It’s going to be dull with occasional drizzle.

It’s almost 4 years to the day that Sam died.

She was pregnant with twins. My mate Steve

Was the father. He moved to Plymouth.

And now,

A classic from the delightful Louis Armstrong…

Mmmm....

Hi Mike, ('What a wonderful world')is it irony or cynicism or the awfulness that many are subject to (especially at this time of year) or perhaps a mixture of all? The mundanity (I hate the spell checker on this site) of existence is well represented here. Tommy
