Map

I saw a map.

It made me laugh.

A map on the toilet wall,

too humorous to call.

Scotland, the edge of the world.

A bad drive home.

I was in Oban.

Chuckling to myself.

I have to go.

I have to get up early.

I have enjoyed a laugh.

I have enjoyed a pint.

I have enjoyed myself.

I am drawing my own map.

The map of life.

This is a witty poem about a map in an Oban public house. Oban is on the West coast of Scotland and is the gateway to The Hebrides. The poem is full of meaning.
