Serenade Me

Sing me a serenade

To an exploded hand grenade

A gentle walk along the esponade

Parking ticket bought and supplied

Near a Blackpool beach

Eyes open wide

I have escaped

I am well disguised

My dreams of hope

Will never hide

My nightmares waylaid

In the local shopping arcade

I have got it made

Bucks Fizz to celebrate

With lemonade

I am well paid

My message conveyed

Life is for living

And singing its serenade
