Uprising

No woman, no cry

I could be loved

An Englishman’s redemption

Travelling on life’s train

A Buffalo Soldier

Marching along the A82

All the way across Scotland

All the way to you

Uprising, a fist in the air

Celebrating the early years

I will be a legend

If I keep on moving

Wake up most mornings

Smiling at three little birds

Everyday, life’s warnings

Remind me of you

I’ve departed my Trenchtown

In Handsworth and Birmingham

For rural idolatry

The shores of Loch Fyne

Life is precious

Life is mine

The world is ours

I feel fine
