Through the Looking-Glass.

streaked the sky a dual boeing

trail which ushers in the growing

dusk and mingles with a dour

firmament – I watch its progress

from my ant sized vantage point

an under-belly view and hedged

in by the parkland evergreens

i remember taking off from

heathrow in the past as cabin

crew prompted passengers on

safety drills – this time of day

they hear the captain from a

fairy grotto cockpit with those

flashing multi-coloured lights

those soothing tones just as the

engine drones reduce and

everyone seems more relaxed

then loosen off their belts before

the smell of coffee permeates

people heading to the loos or

peeping in the ports for views

This is superb. I really like 'under-belly view' and ''fairy grotto cockpit' (just mentioning two images of all the great lines.) The formatting is classy.
