What about Macca? (Part One)

What about Macca?

Just because he's twee

We shouldn't denigrate him

We shouldn't let that be

John gets plenty of plaudits

For being domineering

But we shouldn't defraud his

Pal of credit for supporting

(And also writing most of the hits)

◄ Truth and justice

What about Macca (Part 2) ►

Thanks all - I'll post part two in a minute or two rather than adding any further comment here. I'm beginning to feel sorry for Lennon - doh, I've fallen for his self-mythology again - feel sorry for me, everyone, my life's so hard. Yeah, right, pull the other one, sunshine.

Actually, I kind of agree with you here Ant. I mean, who wrote Helter Skelter? Who wrote Across the Universe? Both of these are 'exceptions to the rule', except that rule isn't strictly true. I've always thought Macca had more musical talent, John was simply king of cool, charismatic.
So, well said Ant... and despite all that, I still think John was the fabbest. Erm, erm, I mean 'She Said, She Said' - love that song. Love it. My favourite of Paul's has to be Penny Lane.
