Fuzzy Logic

For watchers of police programmes I

Have to say there are dozens and

Dozens that enter the fray

Avengers to Z Cars in multiple rows

The dragnets are out for the

Blue Healer shows – Prime Suspect and

Quincy or Remington Steele - old

Perry Mason or cops in The Shield

Miss Marples Jack Warner (PC 49)

Returning to thoughts when the

World seemed sublime – Juliet Bravo

Cold Case and Hot Shots or

That quite unconventional DI Jack Frost

Kojak and Lewis or DCI Morse –

NYPD Blue for a feel of the force

Rozzers and Cozzers the Filth and

The Bill enough to turn blackguards

To head for the hill

But I have to be forthright in stating

My views my favourite of all was that

One Hill Street Blues

Gosh I just about remember this one - certainly remember Hill Street and the haunting signature tune still so treasured

I must apologise for having been remiss on my reading and responding to poems of late. I am quite pleased with this poem and the TV programme as well. I remember we had Hill Street Blues on Tuesday nights weekly when it replaced Baa Baa Black Sheep of Robert Conrad fame.
