entry picture

The actor, writer, presenter - and poet - Larry Lamb will be sharing poems and memories at Wordsworth Grasmere in Cumbria on Wednesday 23 September in conversation with Tim Robertson, trustee of the Wordsworth Trust and former director of the Royal Society of Literature.

Larry, who played Mick in Gavin & Stacey, will read from his own poetry alongside selected poems by William Wordsworth, exploring shared themes of childhood, memory, nature, family, and creativity. His work in theatre ranges from Broadway and West End productions to appearances at the RSC, the National Theatre and leading fringe theatres in London, while TV work include roles in EastEnders and Gavin & Stacey. He published a memoir in 2011, a debut novel in 2025, and is now working on a collection of his poetry to be published in 2027. More details
