Divorce 1

It was as if someone had died,
And all by my choice,
But was it really all me and my decision?

Your actions led me to that place,
Where I couldn't see a future except to go on without you.

I can forgive you for hurting me,
AndĀ for your short comings as a husband,
Because no one is perfect and I'm not always the greatest wife.

But I can't forgive you hurting our children,
The scars of our conflict,
Appear in their decisions and feelings.

We are all recovering from this marriage.

Peace is what we need and a little rewiring inside.
