FAT JAB BLUES

entry picture

(Drugs to combat obesity - a First World solution)

For 70 years I've allus been fat

Too many pies, too often I'm sat

I've craved for belly that's washboard and flat

Our Gert's pushed me round in a barrow

No longer – I'm on that Mounjaro.

For those who don't know this is the jab

You stick in yersen to get rid o' yer flab

Revealing yer inner toned muscle and abs

(But you meant to eat less than a sparrow!)

For effective results from Mounjaro.

I aspire to a belly that's flat and not round

By hoping to shed over 70 pounds

I'll look in the mirror one day when I've found

I'm sleek as that train Golden Arrow

Thanks to my jabs of Mounjaro.

To start with you worry the needle'll hurt

How long will it be? How much to insert?

How much pressure do you have to exert

But thankfully it's short and narrow

To send in yer whack of Mounjaro

When should I stop?” I asked of the quack

When 2” of needle pokes out yer back|”

(A joker he was!) but I've got the knack

I make sure I hit bone and marrow

Yer feel quite a prick with Mounjaro.

My Battle of the Bulge consists of fewer fry ups for brekky, more salads, and less beer; compensation is, I enjoy my Fridays more!
