The Bright Yellow Flowers

entry picture

Standing sadly at the crem, in the rain.

I’m lost for words, it’s always the same.

I close my eyes, and I see mums face.

Mum looks over me, from a better place.

Bright yellow flowers, cry raindrops I see.

Mums plot looks as beautiful as can be.

My mum would have been 90 today.

‘Happy Heavenly Birthday’ to mum I say.

Then I walk away, beneath the rainy sky.

As a bright yellow flower continues to cry.

Michael xx

Miss you loads Mum.
