Interferers
Those were the days
Of Big Keith, Uncle Reg
And Mavis from the garden centre.
It was all going so well;
Everyone had their bit of fun:
Easier times.
Then the interferers came:
Laying down the law, splitting hairs,
Causing trouble.
Suddenly, paths were blocked off,
Names and addresses checked,
The odd groin kicked.
They didn’t like enjoyment:
‘Just not British’, they said.
You remember that.

Thanks, Uilleam. I reckon the gammons are on the march.
