Willingly Spend My Time Here
how drippingly delicious are words melted over with wordplay, riddles wrapped enigma style in plain sight
sure i make it up, most of it, an old woman by the sea, dancing, dreaming, letting go
closing in or circling round, years i prance around in celebratory circles near the sea; doesn't matter where i start always I round around back to you, to the love of you, it's so sweet
my serenity, my peace and also my balance,
the possible by the possibility of you, the existance of you, and the inpossibility of you
all root around together, intertwining, each holding the other up
it is the silence of you only that is antithetical to life; to my life, happily remember the whispers of the cub, so glad you are forest frolicking
i opened my gate for you, did you not smell the sweet scent of the rose petal trail?
Smells so good still, forest and desire, we know the way
not the scent of the death of dreams of our youth, but moon and messages celebrating
puzzling, pondering why the heart wants what it wants, loves those it loves... it just does, is all
there is hope, that flutter in the chest, against what i know to be real and true, accepted
it is not fanciful
rooted deeper
sure, it flutters away
on softest
of tempests
but
flutters back
believe, i do
unknowing what will be or what i am about or all for love or if you'll never live with me and be my love, like this place and willingly spend your time here, all the pleasures proving
unknowing, give up wanting and live with that, a good lesson, for i am enough, content, always learning, growing, standing tall wherever i go, there's always more
yet honoring the sweetness in my heart of heart, for you, this tender regard
still I honor love
