‘Reading’ the theme for North Tyneside Libraries poetry competition
This annual free to enter competition is aimed at those aged 16 and over living anywhere, and not just in North Tyneside. This year’s ‘Reading’ theme is inspired by the fact that it’s the National Year of Reading. The judges are writers Elaine Cusack and Rob Walton.
The rules say “entries should be no longer than 38 lines and pages should be numbered. No more than three entries per person.” Copies of the entry form are available in North Tyneside libraries or you can use the online entry form. You can also email entries (and queries) to library.events@northtyneside.gov.uk. The deadline is 31 July.
