I’m a ‘vulnerable person’…I’m over 65!

In this heat, I’m told how to survive!

Slap on the suncream and wear a hat

Stay indoors at midday, stuff like that!

Drink plenty of fluids, buy myself a fan.

Make sure I don’t get a red coated tan!

Don’t go diving into an ice cold pool.

Wet hankie on my head will keep it cool!

Best I don’t go out at all till 11 at night.

And don’t wear dark clothing…only light!

Make sure that I still have plenty to eat.

And keep in the shade to avoid the heat!

All this very kind advice, I’ll take on board.

As joking aside, it should never be ignored.
