Atoms of You.

Atoms of You.

The wave never leaves the ocean

A flower never truly leaves the earth

The sun never leaves the sky

The moon hasn’t died just because we cannot see it

You were not just a drop in the ocean

You were the ocean in a single drop

Time is just an illusion

Eternity never stops

Atoms of you now fall

As teardrops

Where you once stood

Now grows a meadow

You are weightless

Fluttering in the wind

Like a dandelion seed

You travel across the land

Multiplying your beauty

Leaving a bloom

For every hand.

Thank you Clare for your beautiful words. I agree with Graham, those lines are powerful but if I was to pick my favourite it is; "You were the ocean in a single drop".
Congratulations. I will now spend time to read more of your words and add you to my favourites.

The last verse is really quite special Claire.

I was taken however by the first line 'the wave never leaves the ocean'.

But it does try to, over and over again but is rebuffed every time. A perfect example of persistence.
